Struggles? Concerns? HOPE!

Just a short note this morning from the hope I found in Scripture this morning. Hope in the Bible means confident expectation for good.

The struggle in your face?

God’s got it. Just like Joseph, we need to remember that evil is turned upside down in God’s hands! (Genesis 50)

Our task?

Respond rightly: Refuse to indulge in the fruits of the flesh! Feast on and share the fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5)
Be noble like the Bereans: Examine the Scriptures. (Acts 17)
Focus well: Look at what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy. (Philippians 4)

So needed to hear this. The past couple of weeks have been a very low point in my life. Trying to remind myself of these truths!

  Isn’t that the way God works?! He was telling me that because of a struggle bothering me–and then He brings a sister-in-Christ to it! Just how He intends for us to unite. Father, thank you that Holy Spirit brings things to mind and guides us into Truth. Be with Alisha in a special way that she will have complete confidence in you and peace that passes understanding. Be glorified in her as she rests in You. Bring victories unimagined and reveal Yourself to her. We ask in Jesus’ name and for His glory, Amen
